IT company Bitmarck renews and extends lease in Essen

Unterschleissheim near Munich, October 2nd 2012 – The IC Immobilien Gruppe has successfully negotiated the renewal and extension of a lease signed in 2009 with the IT service provider Bitmarck Service GmbH in Essen’s Lindenquartier complex. According to the Group, based in Unterschleißheim near Munich, Bitmarck Service GmbH has decided to add a further 609 sqm to its existing 3,201 sqm of office space as from 1 January 2013. This takes the occupancy rate of the ten-storey office and business premises in Essen’s financial district up to 98 percent, from just 70 percent at the time it was taken over by IC Group. The Lindenquartier is part of a property portfolio comprising a total of 33 properties which has been managed by IC since January 2007. The total rentable area amounts to 11,558 sqm. Bitmarck Service GmbH is the largest tenant, occupying 4,410 sqm. Others include Deutsche Bahn AG and the steakhouse chain Maredo.
