IC Immobilien Holding GmbH and HIH Property Management GmbH (HPM) have successfully finalised from a legal stance their strategic merger. As of 01.01.2023 IC Immobilien Holding GmbH is taking up the remaining 49 percent in HPM, whereby this will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of IC Immobilien Gruppe. The full-service provider now has some 500 employees and in the future will manage real estate assets of approx. 23 billion euros, thus making the group of companies one of the largest property management specialists in Germany.
In the future the new joint property management company will trade under the name IC Property Management GmbH.
“Our gradual, systematic approach to the merger of the two companies has clearly proved to have been the right one. In 2022 we specifically set aside time for the integration process so as to minimise possible friction and combine the respective strengths of the individual companies in an ideal manner. The new IC Property Management GmbH will be greater than the sum of its individual parts, and we are already looking forward to the collaboration with our existing and new colleagues,” says André Vollbach, the managing director of IC Immobilien Holding GmbH.
“Together we intend to continue to devote all our energy and concentration to the qualitative growth we have experienced in recent years so as to benefit all our stakeholders – from our employees through to our customers and investors. In this respect the economies of scale realised through the merger and additional endeavours in the key areas of ESG and digitalisation will play a decisive role.”
