IC Immobilien Gruppe awarded property management mandate for STÄDTISCHES KAUFHAUS in Leipzig with approx. 23,500 square metres

IC Immobilien Gruppe was mandated with the commercial, technical and accounting property management for STÄDTISCHES KAUFHAUS in Leipzig as of 1 April 2021.

STÄDTISCHES KAUFHAUS is a mixed-use building with a total leasable area of some 23,500 square metres in the heart of Leipzig’s inner city area. The historic property has exclusive retail areas, office space and medical practices, as well as high-quality space for gastronomy operations.

The building was erected in the 15th century as the then Cloth Hall of the tailor’s guild and was one of the world’s first trade fair venues. In the 18th century a concert hall was added, with performances by world-famous musicians and composers such as Mozart, Mendelssohn and Liszt.

With this new mandate IC Immobilien Gruppe now oversees approx. 55,000 square metres of leasable space in Leipzig spread across five properties.
