IC Immobilien Gruppe awarded property management mandate for RECLAM-CARRÉE in Leipzig with approx. 19,000 square metres

IC Immobilien Gruppe was mandated with the commercial, technical and accounting property management for RECLAM-CARRÉE in Leipzig, as well as the exclusive leasing of apartments, as of 1 April 2021.

RECLAM-CARRÉE is a mixed-use property with a total leasable area of some 19,000 square metres, which was extensively restored and modernised in the 1990s. A new construction with additional office space and 35 apartments, whose appearance matches the existing architecture, supplements the historic ensemble of buildings. Parking spaces are available in the property’s underground car park.

RECLAM-CARRÉE, erected in 1887 as the head office and printing works for the Reclam publishing house, is situated in the so-called Graphic District, which borders directly on Leipzig city centre and was the traditional location for the book publishing industry and a large number of Leipzig-based publishers. A number of former publishing houses still testify to this rich heritage, of which RECLAM-CARRÉE is undoubtedly one of the most impressive buildings.
