IC Immobilien Group agrees lease with Ernsting’s family at Humboldt-Center in Zittau
- Ernsting’s family leases around 210 square metres
- Occupancy rate approaches 100 percent
The IC Immobilien Group has secured another long-term tenant for the Humboldt-Center it manages at Hochwaldstraße 25 in Zittau. The new tenant, the major clothing retailer Ernsting’s family GmbH & Co. KG, has agreed to lease 210 square metres of retail space.
“This new lease with Ernsting’s family means that we have attracted a well-known retailer to perfectly complement our existing tenant mix in the Humboldt-Center. We have made excellent progress in repositioning the centre, and every single tenant is reaping the benefits,” said Heiko Dietel, Managing Director of IC Asset Management GmbH and IC Immobilien Service GmbH, the wholly-owned asset management and fund management subsidiaries of IC Immobilien Group. The extensive refurbishment and modernisation of the Humboldt-Center will be completed before the end of 2016. The property’s owner is investing €5.5 million in the measures.
Alongside Ernsting’s family, REWE Markt GmbH agreed a long-term lease at the beginning of 2016. Deichmann SE and toom Baumarkt GmbH also extended their leases. “We are on track for a fully-let Humboldt-Center before the end of 2016. Our objective is to position the object for sustainable, long-term success,” continued Dietel.
IC Immobilien Group provides the object’s owner, BBV Immobilien-Fonds Nr. 8 GmbH & Co. KG, with asset management, property management, fund management and letting services, as well as managing all aspects of the object’s refurbishment and modernisation.
